Bohemia Jazz Fest was established by its president Rudy Linka in 2005 as a unique project, which offers the high-quality jazz on beautiful Czech squares for free.
First year of the festival was very successful by its attendance, which was pretty extraordinary for an event of such character and introduced jazz stars on the squares in Prague, Prachatice and Ceske Budejovice especially thanks to its founder and president Rudy Linka, producer Karel Czaban and Mirek Lestina, a president of Budweiser Burgerbrau brewery.

An important fact in the existence of Bohemia JazzFest was having Pilsner Urquell as a genereal partner for a couple of next years and joining with development and construction company MANE Holding, and its presidents and jazz-fans Jan Nedved and Roman Mallat.

As the time went on, the festival was extended to 8 concerts in Prague (two events), Domazlice, Pilsen, Tabor, Prachatice, Telc and Ceske Budejovice and CEZ group became a general partner of the festival. The Bohemia JazzFest is also supported by EU.
